Modular hospital construction solutions by SPACECUBE – Eastern Health engaged SPACECUBE to assist in building a semi-permanent Emergency Department (ED) to help manage the overflow of patients, and prepare for their future hospital renovation plans. The ward has increased their ED capacity by 50% with the addition of 8 bed cubicles with brand new bed head facilities, a nurses station, staff toilet, disabled access / wheelchair toilet, storage room, medicine safe room and kitchenette.
Built using SPACECUBE’s modular building system which is quick to deploy and install, and able to be on site for several years making it a future proof legacy asset. We couldn’t be more pleased with this new development and the positive impact it will have on patient care and the community.
