Spacecube is pleased to announce a strategic investment from Firemark Ventures, the venture capital arm of Insurance Australia Group (IAG), one of Australasia’s leading general insurers. The investment follows the successful deployment of Spacecube’s Rapid Deployment Accommodation units in regional Victoria after the January 2026 bushfires, where families were able to remain on their properties while rebuilding.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving disaster recovery outcomes for communities affected by floods, bushfires, storms and other emergency events. Spacecube’s modular accommodation solutions can be rapidly transported, deployed and assembled, providing safe, comfortable and self-sufficient accommodation when it is needed most.

Through this partnership, IAG will explore opportunities to incorporate Spacecube’s rapid deployment accommodation into its disaster response capability across rural and regional Australia, with potential future applications in New Zealand and other sectors.
For Spacecube, the investment represents an important milestone as we continue to scale our Rapid Deployment Accommodation solutions and support communities facing increasingly frequent and severe natural disasters. Together with IAG, we are helping deliver stability, safety and dignity to people during some of their most challenging times.
