It was an honour to have SPACECUBE’s Monash Health RESUS facility nominated by ArchDaily as their 2021 ‘Building of the Year’ in the Healthcare Architecture category! Australia’s first COVID-19 RESUS modular hospital construction Facility was built within 3 weeks, with the modular infrastructure built and installed by SPACECUBE within 15 hours. The facility was built using 25 cubes, spanning 360sqm over two-levels, and housing six negative pressure resuscitation beds; a nurse’s station; medication room; and utilities. It was a hugely rewarding project to work on with the brilliant teams at Monash Health, Aurecon and Erilyan Construction!
